A typical class covers but is not limited to:
A fantastic in-person sit-down class to cover questions, discoveries, and direction as you move forward in your path of practice.
An evening discussion on what formerly lived on land, in our seas, and the pagan uses. We will explore the general history of spells and rituals involving bones, fossils, and artifacts in both our modern culture and how our ancestors used them. Understanding the reasons why they are preformed and how it can be applied to your life. Science says that energy never dies… Why bones and artifacts are important to our historic practices. Reviewing the differences between a ritual and a spell using these items. Understanding what spirit animals are, and why we should cherish what has been passed down throughout the generations. Developing rituals that enhance your spiritual practice and daily living. The steps in practicing spells that are understandable, practical, and effective. Understanding the nature of altars as it relates to bones, fossils, and artifacts.
*The class is to help deepen your personal growth in the pagan and metaphysical path. You are welcome to bring a notebook for note taking.

What you should know:
About your teaching instructor:Your instructor for this class is Shasta Smith. She has a 20-year history in education, including being a notable speaker at conventions and teaching as a college instructor. Her focus is history preservation, pagan history studies, and comparative witchcraft study. Her goal is to create an enjoyable atmosphere for all to learn and enjoy.
We welcome beginners! This is a 2-hour class lecture & questions (15 minutes is devoted to checking in, getting acquainted, picking out a beverage and finding your seat) Your in-class syllabus includes any needed tools as it pertains to this class and is provided by the instructor.
The do’s and don’ts of our classes:
*To respect the privacy of attendees: Please do not bring in personal altar or ritual items! Please do not take photos or video during your visit. Please do not bring in your prejudices. Classes are a neutral and safe space for attendees. You are welcome to bring a notebook and an open mind.
Classes are open to anyone age 18 and over. Our facility is a friendly environment that is meant to enjoy and inform. Come prepared and ready to learn, be on time, and silence your cell phones. We respect everyone’s time, therefor classes start ON TIME. The first 15 minutes is set aside to get acquainted and find a seat. If you are late, come in quietly, check-in, and find a seat immediately.
Our classes and lectures are structured and based on old-world practices, experiences, and knowledge. These classes are designed for personal knowledge, and not structured to be intimidating.
Refund/exchange policy:
We do not refund classes, however if you feel you cannot make the class, we can reschedule you for the same class at a later date OR exchange it for another class of the same cost. This MUST be done within 3 days before the class date by emailing: TheHighAltar@gmail.com. If you are a “no-show” to class, there is no refund or exchange.
