Class Description:Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to deepen your practice, this class is for you! Join us for an engaging, in-person experience where we explore the art of crafting your own spells and rituals. This class will cover a variety of topics designed to enhance your spiritual journey:
The History & Evolution: Discover the rich history of spells and rituals and how they have evolved in modern culture.
Purpose & Application: Learn why spells and rituals are performed and how you can integrate them into your life for personal growth and transformation.
Rituals vs. Spells: Understand the key differences between rituals and spells and when to use each to achieve your desired outcome.
Tools & Materials: Explore common items and materials used in spellwork and rituals and their symbolic meanings.
Developing Effective Rituals: Learn how to create meaningful rituals that enhance your spiritual practice and daily life.
Practical Spellwork: Gain practical insight into performing spells that are both effective and grounded in reality.
Altars & Their Role: Understand the significance of altars in spellwork and rituals and how to set them up for success.
This class will provide you with knowledge to deepen your connection to your spiritual path, whether you follow pagan traditions or are exploring the metaphysical realm. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

What you should know:
About your teaching instructor:Your instructor for this class is Shasta Smith. She has a 20-year history in education, including being a notable speaker at conventions and teaching as a college instructor. Her focus is history preservation, pagan history studies, and comparative witchcraft study. Her goal is to create an enjoyable atmosphere for all to learn and enjoy.
We welcome beginners! This is a 2-hour class lecture & questions (15 minutes is devoted to checking in, getting acquainted, picking out a beverage and finding your seat) Your in-class syllabus includes any needed tools as it pertains to this class and is provided by the instructor.

*To respect the privacy of attendees: Please do not bring in personal altar or ritual items! Please do not take photos or video during your visit. Please do not bring in your prejudices. Classes are a neutral and safe space for attendees. You are welcome to bring a notebook and an open mind.
Our facility is a friendly environment that is meant to enjoy and inform. Come prepared and ready to learn, be on time, and silence your cell phones. We respect everyone’s time, therefor classes start ON TIME. The first 15 minutes is set aside to get acquainted and find a seat. If you are late, come in quietly, check-in, and find a seat immediately.
Our classes and lectures are structured and based on old-world practices, experiences, and knowledge. These classes are designed for personal knowledge, and not structured to be intimidating.
Refund/exchange policy:
We do not refund classes, however if you feel you cannot make the class, we can reschedule you for the same class at a later date OR exchange it for another class of the same cost. This MUST be done within 3 days before the class date by emailing: TheHighAltar@gmail.com. If you are a “no-show” to class, there is no refund or exchange.
